How to get your company recommended by ChatGPT and Google’s AI Mode in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt
Let the assistants read your site, say what you do, for whom and where in plain words, keep one set of facts, get on the lists and directories they cite, and check the answers every month, in English and Arabic. Here is the step-by-step version for the Gulf and Egypt.

To get your company recommended by ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Mode in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Egypt, make your site readable by their crawlers, say what you do, for whom and in which city in the first sentences of each page, keep the same company facts everywhere, and be listed and reviewed where assistants look. Then ask the same questions every month and fix what is missing.
That is the short answer. Below is the order we work in, with what we saw when we asked Google’s AI Mode 14 questions about GEO in this region on 27 October 2026.
1. Find out what the assistants say today
Write down ten to twenty questions your buyers would ask, such as “best accounting firm for startups in Riyadh” or “CRM partner in Dubai”, in English and in Arabic. Ask them in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Mode with the location set to the country you sell to, and log which companies and sources each answer names. That list of sources is your map.
2. Let the crawlers in
- Check that robots.txt does not block the assistants’ crawlers, such as OAI-SearchBot and GPTBot for ChatGPT and PerplexityBot for Perplexity.
- Make sure your pages show their text without JavaScript, because many crawlers do not run it.
- Submit your sitemap to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools; some assistants search Bing’s index.
- Add an llms.txt file: a plain-text summary of your company with links to your key pages.
3. Say what, for whom and where
Every service page should name the service, who it is for and the city or country in its title and first two sentences. The agencies AI Mode named in our study had pages that offered the service in that place. Spell out abbreviations: “GEO agency” in Egypt and Kuwait also brought geospatial firms, and “AEO agency” in Abu Dhabi brought a customs status.
4. Write in English and in Arabic
In Saudi Arabia and Egypt many buyers ask in Arabic. Assistants answer in the language of the question and tend to draw on pages in that language, so research and write the Arabic pages on their own rather than translating the English ones. In the UAE, most business searches are in English.
5. Keep one set of facts
- The same company name, description, services, address and phone on your site, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile and directories.
- Google Business Profile and Bing Places listings if you have an address in the country.
- Organization, Service and FAQ structured data on your site that match what each page says.
6. Get on the lists and directories assistants cite
For “which company” questions, AI Mode cited the companies’ own pages, directories such as Clutch, LinkedIn and “top agencies” articles. In Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, one publisher of such lists was cited in all four. Ask clients for reviews on the directories your buyers use, and make sure the lists for your category and city know you exist.
7. Answer the questions in your own guides
For “how do I…” questions, AI Mode cited firms that had written the answer for that country. A short guide that answers one buyer question in its first two sentences, for your market, gives assistants something to quote.
8. Check every month
Ask the same questions each month from the same countries, in both languages, and log the answers. Visits from chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai and gemini.google.com in your analytics show whether mentions turn into traffic.
What does not work
- Paying for links or fake reviews.
- Pages that say “we serve the whole GCC” without saying what you do there.
- Hiding the company’s address, team or contacts.
- Expecting results in a week: assistants pick up changes at their own pace.
