SAP outsourcing from Egypt. ABAP and S/4HANA people inside your SAP team.

GrowAxis employs SAP ABAP developers and S/4HANA consultants in Cairo who join your SAP team for support (AMS), custom development and migrations. A senior developer costs about $6,940 a month, all in, at GrowAxis’s 2026 rates, where a German SAP contractor receives about €875 a day for ABAP work. With mainstream maintenance of SAP ECC ending in 2027, the work arrives as the people get scarce.

What an SAP developer in Egypt costs

Public SAP pay data for Egypt is thin, so the calculator prices SAP developers at GrowAxis’s 2026 all-in rate for backend developers. Change the level or the number of people.

Rates are set in US dollars; other currencies use the Central Bank of Egypt’s dollar rate on 3 November 2026, the riyal and dirham through their dollar pegs. Change them to today’s.

07FAQ

SAP outsourcing from Egypt: what founders ask first.

  • Mainstream maintenance ends at the end of 2027; optional extended maintenance runs to the end of 2030 at two points more. The SAP ERP, private edition, transition option is usable from 2031 to 2033, and since October 2026 its subscriptions may run to the end of 2035.

  • At GrowAxis’s 2026 rates, about $6,940 a month for a senior developer and $2,720 for a mid-level one, all in: pay, social insurance, equipment and management. A German SAP contractor receives about €875 a day for ABAP work.

  • Yes: application support with tickets, fixes, small changes and month-end cover, run in your service tools under your SLA.

  • Yes. Partners add GrowAxis developers to their delivery team for a project or for as long as they need them, while GrowAxis employs them in Egypt.

  • No. GrowAxis is the employer in Egypt, so you don’t need an entity, a local bank account or a payroll provider there.

  • The developers work in your repositories, servers and accounts, with the access you give them. For personal data from the EU the contract adds a GDPR transfer basis, such as the standard contractual clauses. In Egypt, Law 151 of 2020 applies, and since 1 November 2026 companies there that handle personal data need a licence.

  • With outsourcing, a vendor runs the work and directs its own people. With staff augmentation, named people join your SAP team and you direct them. GrowAxis works the second way and employs the people in Egypt.

  • Without extended maintenance or a move to S/4HANA, SAP moves you automatically to customer-specific maintenance. Extended maintenance runs to the end of 2030 at two points more. Systems without an enhancement package, or on packages 1 to 5, left mainstream maintenance at the end of 2025.

  • Providers price it per ticket, per hour or per month; BearingPoint, for example, publishes a starting price of €79 a ticket in CET office hours. With GrowAxis you pay per person per month: about $6,940 a month, all in, for a senior developer and $2,720 for a mid-level one.

  • Yes. Large firms run SAP delivery from Cairo: IBM’s centres in Cairo and Giza are expanding SAP work in S/4HANA, ABAP, and Basis and Security. Your SAP leads interview every person GrowAxis puts forward.
