Back office and IT for Saudi companies, run from Cairo.
GrowAxis gives Saudi companies back office, IT, software and data teams in Cairo, working in Arabic and English inside your systems. Cairo is one hour behind Riyadh in winter and on the same time in summer. Saudi rules reserve remote customer service jobs, outsourced ones included, and some administrative roles for Saudi nationals; IT, software and data work are outside them.

04Rules
What runs from Egypt, and what stays in the Kingdom
- Customer service
- Since 1 August 2021, remote customer service jobs at companies operating in the Kingdom, by phone, email, chat or social media, are reserved for Saudi nationals, employed directly or outsourced. It is a full restriction, not a quota.
- Administrative roles
- Since 5 April 2026, 69 administrative support professions, such as secretaries, data entry clerks, translators and receptionists, are reserved for Saudi nationals at private employers in the Kingdom. The decision does not address work done by a provider abroad, so each role is checked before it moves.
- IT, software and data
- Covered by neither rule: developers, QA, DevOps, IT support for your staff, data and reporting.
- Personal data
- The data protection law’s rules on transfers abroad apply, so the contract sets which data the team reaches and how.
- Government contracts
- Since 1 January 2024 government agencies may not contract with foreign firms whose regional headquarters is outside the Kingdom; work done outside the Kingdom is among the exceptions.
- Hours
- Cairo is one hour behind Riyadh in winter and on the same time in summer, so the working day overlaps by seven to eight hours.

06FAQ
Back office and IT for Saudi companies: what founders ask first.
IT, software and data work, yes, and much of the back office. Two rules set the limits: remote customer service jobs at companies in the Kingdom, outsourced ones included, are reserved for Saudi nationals (since 1 August 2021), and 69 administrative support professions, such as secretaries, data entry clerks and translators, are reserved for Saudis at private employers there (since 5 April 2026). Each role is checked against both before it moves.
No. The Ministry of Human Resources restricts remote customer service jobs to Saudi nationals, by direct or indirect contract and outsourcing included, on phone, email, chat and social media. It is a full restriction, in force since 1 August 2021.
Not as your remote customer service: those jobs are reserved for Saudi nationals, outsourced ones included. GrowCX can set up the helpdesk and AI for your Saudi support team.
Riyadh’s working day: Cairo is one hour behind in winter and on the same time in summer.
The transfer rules of Saudi Arabia’s data protection law apply, so the contract sets which data the team can reach, where it is processed and how access is controlled.
No. GrowAxis employs the team in Egypt under its Labour Law 14 of 2025, so you need no entity, bank account or payroll there.
Yes, or on its own. With GrowAI the team also automates the routine parts of the back office with AI agents.
